We are delighted to be able to confirm distinguished Japanese composer Somei Satoh will be joining the summer school in weeks 4 and 5 to teach advanced composition.
Six students will be selected to participate in daily masterclass sessions with Satoh and write for the summer school’s resident ensemble, culminating in a performance of works written during the course. This is a unique opportunity to work with one of Japan’s leading composers.
Applications will be opening early on Monday 8th December 2008 and closing Monday 2nd March 2009. Watch this space for more information and application forms.
